A video has emerged showing the moment residents in Lagos State are being flogged while collecting bread palliatives amidst economic hardship in the country.

The viral video showed the moment some individuals in Lagos island who gathered to collect bread palliatives were being flogged during the sharing process.

It was alleged that loaves of bread were given out to residents by the government to cushion the effects of the current economic hardship in the country.
