Veteran Yoruba movie actor Kareem Adepoju, popularly known as Baba Wande, has revealed why he decided to stop acting movies while also stating the only thing that could encourage him to accept a movie role from his colleagues.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interactive session with Kunle Afod, he made it known that he stopped acting movies when he was offered seventy thousand naira payment to work in two locations in two states.
In his statement, he said, “I don’t go to movie locations anymore, because the money they are offering is not encouraging at all. I stopped acting in movies because I was offered a role in 2 states with a 70,000 naira payment.
“There is no way I can take that amount, especially with the current situation of the country considering the pride of fuel at the moment. Maybe if somebody offers me a movie role with a good payment, I may consider coming to acting movies.”
