Governor Seyi Makinde’s strong supporter Benedict Akika ‘Benee, who was kidnapped in his Ibadan private residence has regained freedom.
A close family source who doesn’t want name in print confirmed this to westernmirror on Wednesday evening.
The Click News had reported how Mr Benee was taken from his Olohunda home in Ibadan about a week ago.
Members, supporters and followers of Omituntun Benedict Foundation (OBF) had earlier turned out in large number across various religious worship places including Christian and Muslims to seek divine intervention in Akika’s release.
According to the close family source, “it is confirmed”.
