The chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Oyo State ,Mr Demola Babalola has announced the death of his mother, Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola .

Dembab as fondly called made the announcement on his official Facebook page early Sunday morning.

He wrote

*We announce with deep sorrow the passing of our mother, Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola*

*A Matriarch of Muraina Oladiti Babalola’s Family, Mama passed on, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the age of 76 years*.

*Funeral Details*:

•⁠ *⁠Date: Today, Sunday, November 3, 2024*
•⁠ ⁠*Time: 4:00 pm
•⁠ ⁠Location: Family House, Olorunsogo-Akanran Road, Palupo Community, Asegun Group of Schools, Asolo Bus Stop, Ibadan*

*She is survived by the Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren*

*Mama was a devout Muslim and respected Otun Iya Adeen of Palupo Muslim Community, Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State*.

*May Allah grant Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola a peaceful rest and admit her into Jannah. May her legacy live on through all of us, in the family*.
