Mrs Rosemary Oromoni, the mother of the 12-year-old boy Slyvetser Oromoni who died in 2021 as a result of alleged bullying in the elite high school, Dowen College in Lagos, has reportedly died after a protracted illness.
Three years after her son’s passing, Mrs. Oromoni has reportedly succumbed to complications attributed to the heartbreak and trauma of losing her youngest child.
Sylvester Jnr. allegedly died from severe bullying by senior students at his Lagos school. While the family continues to seek justice, the mother’s death has added to their tragedy, shocking the community.
According to the report, Mrs. Oromoni was said to have passed on the 25th of November from grief and trauma-related issues she suffered from her son’s untimely death.
A family source revealed that her health had deteriorated significantly over time, as she was unable to eat or sleep which made her unstable which led to her passing.
Her loss has left the family and supporters in deep mourning, highlighting the enduring pain caused by her son’s untimely passing and their continued pursuit of justice.
The Oromoni family now grieves the loss of both a beloved son and a devoted mother, whose memories serve as a poignant reminder of the need for justice and healing.
