Hon. Ayoade Folahan Idris, Councillor representing Gbedun Ward 10 in Ona-Ara Local Government Council, has empowered his constituents with cash grants and financial support. The distribution ceremony took place at Gbedun Community Hall, where Hon. Idris reiterated his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises made during the LG election.

This empowerment initiative aims to provide business financial support and relief to individuals during the current economic downturn, enabling them to invest and generate a decent livelihood. The focus is on vulnerable groups, including windows, the less privileged, and unemployed youths.

Beneficiaries were selected from all 9 polling units in Ward 10, Gbedun community. The list of the beneficiaries :

PDP party Chieftain, Hon. Taiwo Oke, also commended Hon. Folahan Idris for replicating the good governance of Gov. Seyi Makinde’s administration at the grassroots level.
