Mama Deborah Fasoyin the famous singer of the end of the year song ” Odun nlo sopin” has said she is not the composer of the popular song.
Mrs Fasoyin stated this during a brief interview where she gave credits to a CAC branch in Ibadan.

She said
“We recorded “Odun Lo Sopin” in December 1979. I wasn’t the one that composed the song, till today we don’t know who did. A CAC in Ibadan used to sing the chorus as a revival song back then, I only added 2 verses.” 84-Year-Old Deborah Fasoyin said..
