Residents of Pako, Amukoko Roundabout of Ajeromi Ifelodun local Government area of Lagos State has been mourning the demise of a Business woman and Grandma who was allegedly stabbed to death by her grandson. A 16 year old boy who ran away with 4 Million Naira and Jewelries.
Report says the boy was living with his grandmother who mostly travels to Cotonou, Benin Republic to buy goods that she sells in Nigeria.
According to a facebook and Instagram post by a Netizen Awoniyi Olusegun Samuel, the incident happened on Friday 21 of February.
The post reads
“On Friday 21st of February 2025 the grandma prepared to travel for business again as usual.
When the grandson noticed that his grandma was in possession of 4 Million Naira (Cash) that she wanted to use for purchasing goods in Cotonou, he decided to stab his grandma to death on Friday night and escaped with the money and her Gold.
Nobody noticed the death of the grandma on till Sunday 23 of February 2025 which is 3 days after when one of the family members pay visitation to the grandma.
That was when the grandma’s remains was discovered.
The grandma was found in the pool of her own blood with 3 knife wounds.
The boy has been declared wanted by the police.”
