Renowned Fuji music icon, Saheed Osupa, has sparked widespread reactions following a viral video in which he issued a strong warning to bloggers capitalizing on controversies within the Fuji music industry.
In a now-viral video circulating on social media, Osupa expressed frustration over what he described as the growing trend of bloggers using disputes among Fuji artists to drive traffic and gain attention.
The respected artiste urged bloggers to seek more constructive ways to “sell their market,” warning that failure to heed his advice could lead to “bitter experiences.”
While Osupa did not mention anyone directly, the post has widely been interpreted as a veiled reference to Dele Adeyanju, an Ibadan-based journalist and the founder of Agbaletu TV, who is popularly known as Agbaman.
Adeyanju is known for regularly hosting detailed interviews and revealing commentaries on the activities and experiences of live bands, band leaders, band boys, and band management among others. This includes extensive coverage of the Fuji music industry and their unending supremacy battles.
The video has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from fans and media observers. Some support Osupa’s call while others argue that public figures must accept media scrutiny as part of the job.
