The General Manager of Pensioners FM, Ibadan, Otunba Babatunde Tiamiyu, will next Sunday, be conferred with an Award of Honour by the Ibadan Community of Cotonou, Benin Republic.
In a letter by the organisers of the annual Ibadan Day celebration in Cotonou, Union des Natifs d’Ibadan au Benin, the recognition is in appreciation of Otunba Tiamiyu’s contributions to the welfare of people, his impact on the social and developmental advancement of the Ibadan community.
The award ceremony, which is expected to have Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja in attendance, will hold on Sunday, April 19, 2026, as part of activities marking the Ibadan Day celebration in Cotonou.
The event is expected to attract members of the Ibadan community in the diaspora, as well as dignitaries from Nigeria and Benin Republic.
