Nigeria’s lewd lyrics juju music, Iyun Janet Ajilore, popularly known as St Janet, is dead.
A Publisher and socialite, Otunba Femi Davies, announced the news early on Sunday with a post on his social media handles.

According to Davies, St Janet died during a brief illness.
He wrote: “St Janet (Iyun Janet Ajilore) a popular Nigerian Juju and highlife musician known for her vibrant live performances, energetic stage presence, and socially unfiltered party tracks is dead.
“She died after a brief illness on Saturday.”
Saint Janet was widely admired for her electrifying live performances, energetic stage presence, and unique style of engaging audiences through satire, humour, and socially unfiltered commentaries. Her performances often featured candid remarks on societal issues, gossip, and everyday happenings, earning her the nickname “Mama Yabis.”
News of her death has thrown the entertainment industry and her numerous fans into mourning, with tributes expected from colleagues, admirers, and lovers of indigenous Nigerian music.
