A tragic incident was reportedly recorded yesterday evening in Lagos after a man driving an ambulance suddenly passed away while waiting in traffic.
According to eyewitness accounts, the traffic eventually cleared, but the ambulance remained stationary, obstructing vehicles behind it. Concerned motorists reportedly got out of their vehicles to find out why the ambulance was not moving.
Sadly, they discovered that the driver had reportedly died inside the vehicle. The exact cause of death remains unknown at the time of this report.
The ambulance is said to belong to Swift-Med Hospitals. Efforts by people at the scene to contact the hospital management were reportedly unsuccessful, as no contact number was visibly displayed on the ambulance.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed publicly.
