Governor Ademola Adeleke has been listed as the Osun State Coordinator of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, while Senator Iyiola Omisore has been appointed an adviser.
The names appeared in a notice announcing the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to the document, Adeleke will serve as the campaign council’s coordinator in Osun State, while Omisore is listed among the advisers.
The council’s inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, by 11 a.m.
Adeleke’s inclusion is particularly noteworthy given his position as the sitting governor of Osun State, while Omisore is a former deputy governor of the state and a prominent figure in its APC politics.
However, it remains unclear whether Adeleke’s listing reflects an accepted appointment or has been officially acknowledged by the governor.
