Former chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and embattled Owa of Igbajo Oba Phillip Adegboyega Famodun III has joined his ancestors.
Reports on the Osun media space say Famodun passes away on Friday after a brief illness. Sources indicate that he died at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja, where he had been receiving treatment.
No official announcement has been made regarding his death.

Oba Famodun III, known politically as Adegboyega Famodun before ascending the throne, was a prominent figure in Osun’s political arena. He served as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
