The Oyo State Public Relations Officer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Michael Ogunsina, has raised concerns about what he described as a political move to destabilize the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.

‎Speaking during an interview, Ogunsina said the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin was offered a large financial inducement running into eight figures, along with a House of Representatives ticket, to influence ill decision Against the governor and the government.

‎He also stated that the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja approached the Speaker and asked him to join the All Progressives Congress.

‎According to Ogunsina, this was part of a wider plan to weaken the current administration.

‎Ogunsina further alleged that Florence Ajimobi is pushing for the impeachment of Governor Makinde.

‎He said these actions suggest that some influential figures are working to create tension within the state’s leadership.

‎He added that the situation reflects an attempt to cause division between the executive and legislative arms of government.

‎Ogunsina warned that such developments could affect stability if not addressed.

‎He maintained that the PDP is aware of the situation and will continue to monitor events as they unfold.
