An Egyptian Christian man named Mina won a Quran competition and gave the free Umrah trip to his Muslim neighbor, who had dreamed of visiting Makkah for years.🇪🇬
Mina had watched his neighbor, Um Ali, try several times to win an Umrah trip through an online Quran competition.
Knowing how much the trip meant to her, he decided to enter the competition himself.
He reportedly submitted the correct answer between 50 and 60 times to increase his chances of winning.
Mina won the prize, but instead of keeping the trip for himself, he gave it to Um Ali so she could finally fulfil her dream of performing Umrah.
The two have reportedly been neighbours for more than 20 years, and Mina sees her as an older sister.
